Tresses By Deidra's Longevity 

All Wigs, Hair pieces & extensions purchased from Tresses by Deidra can last for 1 YEAR + with proper care! Please follow these tips thoroughly to insure longevity. If you wear your units/pieced regularly, I suggest washing them weekly. Tresses by Deidra Wigs & Hair pieces are made with Premium Quality Virgin Human Hair, much like the hair on someone head, it needs to be taken care of properly to maintain its moisture, luster and prevent breakage.

Lace Closure Care Tips 

*My closures are pre bleached, please keep that in mind if you decide to further bleach your knots! * When bleaching your knots remember to follow the instructions of your bleach, DO NOT use anything higher than 30 vol developer. I HIGHLY recommend SEALING YOUR KNOTS (after bleaching & customizing), this step is often forgotten but is very important. Knots weaken from the bleach and styling over time, I recommend ‘Walker Tape Top Loc Knot Sealer’. Other brands are available.

Blow Out Texture Hair Care Tips 

Detangle while WET from ends to weft. I recommend ‘Garnier Fructis Curl Nourish’ shampoo, conditioner and the leave in ' Air Dry Butter Cream' for my Wavy/Curly, Kinky Curly & Afro Curly Textures. 'Dove Intensive Repair' Shampoo & Conditioner can also be a good alternative. Although Co-washing is best for curly hair, I do recommend that you shampoo every other wash to prevent product build up!

Colored Hair Tips

Wigs, Half Up Half Down kits, Tape In Extensions & Ponytails that have been colored requires more upkeep. I suggest shampooing with sulfate free/color safe shampoos only & deep conditioning with 'Avanti Silicon Mix Hair Treatment' every wash. Use the suggested leave in conditioner above according to the texture purchased. Red hair dyes are known to BLEED EXCESSIVELY! Please try to avoid products containing sulfates and wash with cold-cool water to maintain the color.
